Breastfeeding Stories - Aurora

This is Aurora, Mom of two boys, she is photographed here with here youngest Adam.

These are her words.

I remember one day during a gynecologist visit, she told me that I had good nipples to breastfeed, at that time my priority was not to get pregnant but that message stayed somewhere in my brain. I do not come from a family of women who have breastfed but when I became pregnant of my first child, it was very clear to me, that I would only breastfeed and it was wonderful and luckily I had a lot of support by my side from the nurses and lactation groups specially. For me breastfeed means connection, is my special moment with my son, it means calm too, especially when the tiredness appeared. I breastfeed my first son until three and half and I stil feeding my second boy with four years old. When am I gonna to stop to breastfeed my son? Who knows...

Dad words: Watching my son's breastfeed from her mum is the closest thing to watching then born again. Seeing that connection, the glow in her eyes, how they transpire calmness and love. I feel lucky for the two sons life has given us but above all I feel proud of the her.
